FOUNDER
Late Pt. Vijay Prakash Mishra Ji
Late Pt. Vijay Prakash Mishra Ji is the founder of the group. He completed his education from a small village near Katni and in order to start business and help village fellows for commuting, he started passenger bus service by owning a single bus in late 1970’s. With his constant hard work and efforts, he gradually increases the number of buses and built the name of the group in not only Katni but also in near by districts. Today, “Pt. Vijay Prakash Mishra Bus Service” is one of the prominent bus service providers by helping passengers to commute in nearby remote places near Katni.
Co-Founder
Mr. Vijendra Mishra
He is the elder son of Late Pt. Vijay Prakash Mishra and also the Co-Founder of the group. He completed his graduation in science from Katni Government College. He followed and learnt business ethics from his father and in same series, started diversifying the group into different businesses. He started diversification by starting business of auto parts dealership of different companies like Telco, SKF & Gajra etc.
He is also interested in social and public welfare services and become the President of Lion’s Club Katni and a member of Red Cross Society for arranging various welfare programmes for poor and underprivileged section of the society. He is also the president of Laxmi Narayan Mandir Trust Committee which is one of the top most trusts in Katni.
He became the first Mayor of Katni Municipal Corporation and awarded twice “The Best Mayor Award” in entire M.P state. He did not take any remuneration and any allowances throughout his Mayor tenure and donated the entire funds for poor girls marriages and education.
Co-Founder
Late Mr. Satya Prakash Mishra
He was the younger son of Late Pt. Vijay Prakash Mishra and also the Co-Founder of the group. He completed his post-graduation in commerce from Katni Government College. He was a gold medallist in college and after his post-graduation was giving free coaching’s to underprivileged students. He was involved in further expansion of the business which was established by his father and enhanced by his brother. After Mr Vijendra Mishra became mayor, he single handed managed the entire business and further expand it to other verticals like lubricants, fuels etc. He was the president of Bus Operators Association and also member of many social welfare groups in the city. Due to his special interest in healthcare sector, he started “Vijay Memorial Hospital” in Katni where regular free treatment camps are being conducted and which is one of the top most centre for medical facilities. The hospital is also having a section under which Ayurvedic treatment is given by the specialized ayurvedic doctors.
Our Directors
Late Mr. Sachin Shukla
He was an M. Com from Jabalpur University and a rank holder in district. He was equally supporting in enhancing the business verticals and was taking care of tyre and auto parts vertical of the group. He was also very active in the social groups for welfare activities related to child education and women empowerment.
Mr. Jagat Prakash Mishra
He is the elder son of Mr Vijendra Mishra and completed his MBA from Pune University. After having a rich experience in corporate world, he joined family business and enhancing it further. He is responsible mainly for the marketing and sales division of the group.
Mr. Dev Prakash Mishra
He is the elder son of Late Mr. Satya Prakash Mishra. He is an engineer and MBA from IMS, Ghaziabad. He is involved in day-to-day operations and primarily looking towards technical aspects of the group.
Mr. Ved Prakash Mishra
He is the younger son of Mr Vijendra Mishra. He is an engineer having civil as a specialization from Jabalpur University. He is involved in routine business activities of the group and also looking towards construction vertical.
Mr. Shubh Prakash Mishra
He is the younger son of Mr. Satya Prakash Mishra. He is a commerce graduate and pursuing his LLB. He is taking care of passenger buses, auto parts & tyres verticals of the group. He is also the President of Bus Operators Association, Katni at present.
Mr. Kushal Prakash Mishra
He is the younger son of Mr. Satya Prakash Mishra. He is a commerce graduate and pursuing his LLB. He is also looking after passenger buses, auto parts & tyres verticals of the group. He is also very active in organising free medical camps in near by rural areas for free treatment of underprivileged section of the society.
